contact@flggrade.comHow much does it cost to grade a Pokémon card with FLGGrade?
€12.49 per card for Regular (5 to 7 days) and €14.49 for Express (1 to 2 days). From 10 cards, Regular Bulk is €10.49 per card and Express Bulk €12.49. FLG Pro subscribers (€7.99 a month) pay €1 less on every card. Return shipping is paid separately: from €3.50 with Mondial Relay in France, from €6 with Colissimo.
How long does grading take?
Regular takes 5 to 7 days, Express 1 to 2 days and Express Bulk 2 to 3 days. The clock starts when your package reaches us, and the grade goes online as soon as it's done, before the card ships back.
How do I send my cards?
Create an account, list your cards on the submission page and pay. Put each card in a penny sleeve and a toploader or semi-rigid holder, pack them so they can't move, and send them to FLG Grading, 115 Chemin de Revouirolles, 13760 Saint-Cannat, France. Then add your tracking number in your profile. The shipping guidelines have the details.
Which cards do you grade?
Pokémon cards in every language: English, French, Japanese, German, Spanish, Italian, Korean, Portuguese and Chinese.
How is the grade calculated?
Centering counts for 10% of the grade and corners, edges and surface for 30% each. Every defect is logged by type and size, from XXS to XL, and each size takes a fixed number of points off its subgrade. The final grade is the lower of the weighted average, rounded up to the half point, and the lowest subgrade plus one, so one bad corner can't hide behind three perfect scores. The full rules are on the grading scale page.
What is a photometric surface scan?
We photograph each card under light coming from several angles and compute a map of its surface relief. Scratches, dents and print lines that disappear in a normal photo, especially on holo and full-art cards, show up clearly on that map. The map is published on the card's report so anyone can see what the grade is based on.
Can anyone check an FLGGrade card?
Yes. Type the cert number printed on the label into the cert lookup. The report shows the card, the four subgrades, the photos, the surface scan and every defect we found. If a number isn't in our records, the slab didn't come from us.
Why choose FLGGrade over PSA, PCA or CCC?
Speed and transparency. Our Regular service takes 5 to 7 days, where entry-level tiers elsewhere can take months, and every grade comes with a public report that shows each defect. For a very expensive card you plan to sell outside Europe, PSA still has the deepest resale market. We compare prices and turnaround times in detail on the grading comparison page.
Are my cards insured?
Sending your cards to us is at your own risk, so use a tracked service. For the return trip you can choose an insured option with signature on delivery. If a return package is lost, we refund what you paid and compensate you up to the insurance taken out.
Do you ship outside France?
Yes, to the whole European Union, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Other countries are possible case by case: contact us first. The return shipping calculator shows the price for your country.
